The Alliance for Rabies Control relies on motivated individuals working at all levels to help carry out its essential work. Every little bit counts, and raising money can be both rewarding and fun.

Sponsored events: Take part in large sporting events (such as a marathon, half marathon), walks/ bike rides/ swims etc... We can help you put together posters and flyers to raise awareness for your Alliance-sponsoring event. See World Rabies Day for ideas. For the UK we are registered with a fundraising website, Just Giving, that make arranging sponsorship very easy. 

Engage your Vet: Do you have a good relationship with your local vet? Find out if they would help you? Would they send a flyer to their clients asking for support? Or make a donation each time they vaccinate a pet against rabies in a rabies endemic country?

Matching Gifts: Ask your company to match what you raise. Some companies have a matching gift policy. Get others involved by alerting colleagues through the employee bulletin/Newsletter or Intranet.
