GARC is a non-profit organization with two branches:

Global Alliance for Rabies Control, in the US and Alliance for Rabies Control, established in Scotland.

Is GARC a registered charity/non-profit?

Yes, both the Global Alliance for Rabies Control and the Alliance for Rabies Control are registered as charitable, non-profit organizations.

The Global Alliance for Rabies Control in the US (a 501c3 organization)

The Alliance for Rabies Control has charitable status in the United Kingdom (Charity number SC 037112)

Can I request funding from the GARC?

GARC projects are the result of recommendations by the Technical Advisory Group who have an overall view of rabies worldwide. This enables us be sure that we maximize the impact of our efforts. At the moment, we are unable to consider other requests for funding.
