This is proven by the effectivenness of controls to manage the disease in the USA and UK. Our project in Bohol shows that rabies can be beaten elsewhere too. Every rabies death is a needless waste of life.

Yet, worldwide governments fail to implement the measures that will save and improve the lives of people and animals in their country. Perhaps they underestimate the scale of problem? Perhaps they assume there's no answer to the problem? Either way, we need to make them listen: rabies is a massive killer but it can be stopped.
